Hole #14
Russellville - Hole #15

Changes to the 160-acre Russellville Country Club have made the course more challenging as well as more playable. The practice area and putting greens are now among the best in the state.

The master plan for the 18-hole renovation and rerouting included increased yardages, strengthening of the overall course rating, and a new range and short game facility. It included removing dangerous points of potential conflict, some green, tee and/or golf hole relocation, plus rebuilding of all 18 greens, tees, and bunkers to U.S.G.A. specifications.

It increased irrigation coverage, as well as major drainage and lake work. It also included complete rebuilding, relocation, and/or orientation of all par threes, one of which is “signature” hole #14, perched on a lake by a native stone rock wall. Greens were changed to a new hybrid bentgrass (SR-1020), creating a more playable and well conditioned course.
