| In the rural and green northeastern part of Oklahoma, this combination parkland/links design course runs along Corta Creek and is a delight for locals and tourists alike. From creative dirt moving and a drainage system that includes large interspersed lakes, Lin Lar is one of the areas sexiest and most uniquely shaped golf course tracts. The 18-hole, 360-acre site includes a real estate development with 500 dwelling units, with approximately 300 of those adjacent to fairways. Designed to be scenic, yet demanding, the course appeals to both low and high handicappers. |
Lin Lar offers length and subtle undulating greens which provides a challenge to the single-digit handicap golfer. The Bermuda fairways are wide and the use of bunkers and man-made ponds is sensible, but not threatening. Lin Lar also features a state-of-the-art fertilizer injection system that allows the turf to grow uniformly. |
