Hole #1 Grading Plan
Nestled in an historic Civil War battlefield park, the 300+ acre site is located approximately 30 miles southwest of Washington D.C., just off Virginia State Highway 28 in the city of Manassas Park. The golf course is an eighteen-hole facility that also features three practice holes, a practice range, a short game area, and a golf academy. The city/county park known as Signal Hill, is covered by a hardwood forest composed of a multitude of legacy oak, beech, and poplar trees, many of which date back to the Civil War. The large specimens, as well as the dramatic changes in elevation, were incorporated into the design, creating spectacular views throughout the course. The Signal Hill area played a key role in the Battle of Bull Run and many of the golf course features were designed to preserve war bunker emplacements, as well as other historical features.
