Karsten Creek and Shadow Valley are just two examples of the many outstanding master plans developed by Jerry Slack. Shadow Valley Country Club, designed by Jerry Slack (see description under New 18 Hole Courses) is currently under construction.

Slack & Associates produced the preliminary routing and master development plan for the 900+ acres of rolling terrain for this project, including a 110-acre lake. Encompassing 36 combined holes of golf, including the Oklahoma State University team course by Tom Fazio, the plan includes a hotel, villas, corporate office and research facilities, as well as a full range of housing types. Completed planning in 1993. Initial golf course opened for play in 1995.
